Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Bulleit Bourbon
- 2 dashes Orange Bitters
- .25 oz Sweet Vermouth
- .25 oz Bitter Aperitivo
Garnish
- Orange Peel

Instructions
- Build in glass, add ice and stir.
- Garnish with an orange peel.
Tamarind BBQ Burger
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef (serves 4)
- 4 Burger Buns (potato buns are recommended)
- Chile Salt to taste
- Tamarind BBQ Sauce
Instructions
- Season 4 burger patties with any chile salt, & grill or pan sear.
- When flipped, brush with generous amount of tamarind BBQ sauce.
- Assemble burgers with char-grilled rings of pineapple, more tamarind BBQ sauce, mayonnaise, fresh herbs like cilantro & mint, roughly chopped.
Tamarind BBQ Sauce
Ingredients
- ¼ c Tamarind pulp or paste
- ¾ c Ketchup
- 2 tbsp Water
- Small knob of Fresh Ginger, grated on microplane
- Small knob of Fresh Turmeric, grated on microplane
- 2 Cloves of Garlic finely minced or grated on microplane
- ⅓ c Rice Vinegar
- ⅓ c Brown Sugar or Piloncillo (Mexican dark sugar)
- 1 tbsp Hot Sauce or 1 Fresh Chile
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Combine all bbq sauce ingredients in a small saucepan & cook on medium heat until bubbling, stirring occasionally.
- Turn heat to low & let simmer for 20-30 minutes to allow flavors to meld & until preferred consistency is achieved.
- Add a splash of water if too thick or too spicy.
- Set aside.
